Nothing like touting a 1912 murder as a successful venture, but that’s what Haunting Villisca is all about. In June of 1912 a terrible—and to this day unsolved—axe murder occurred in the small southwestern Iowa town of Villisca. This was the first major world event, occuring just six weeks after the Titanic’s demise.
In the summer of 2005, Aries Works Entertainment began shooting a movie, titled Haunting Villisca. This new motion picture is schedule to be released in the fall of 2006. Spin Ventures has worked with the Haunting Villisca team to create a website that feeds the worldwide interest in this horrible crime. From historians to paranormal explorers, this incident and the new movie are of keen interest.
From the new website, developed by Spin Ventures and the Spindustry team, visitors are able to monitor the progress of the film, the historical facts and purchase DVDs and related items.
This could be big. Really big.
